  • lady decided to be burned alive with her books 
  • Montag hasn't seen Clarisse in like about 4 days
  • Someone told him that Clarisse got run over and her parents left but they aren't to sure if she is dead
  • Montag isn't happy with his wife because they are always arguing 
  • The wife is always overdosing 
  • Montag kept a book under his pillow 
  • Captain Beatty came to Montag's house
  • Captain Beatty just came to see how Montag was because someone hads told him that Montag was sick
  • Montag was afraid that the Captain would notice the book he had under the pillow because his wife, Mildred, started smoothing the bedclothes.

Vocabulary : Fall List # 6

1. pratfall - a fall to ones buttocks.
Isaiah took a pratfall into the pool.
2. bewilderedly - to confuse or befuddle, especially with numerous conflicting situations, objects, or statements.
My sisters different attitudes bewilder me because I don't know if shes serious or not.
3. titillation - to stimulate by touching lightly; tickle.
I like to titilate my brother especially when hes mad because I like his laugh. 
4. theremin - electronic instrument played by moving the hands near its two antennas, often used for high tremole effects. 
Nadia discovereed she can play a theremin without touching it. 
5. tabloids - a newspaper of small format giving the news in condensed form, usually with illustrated, often sensational material. 
In the newspaper I read a long tabloid article about sports.
6. centrifuge - an apparatus consisting essentially of a compartment spun about a central axis to separate contained materials of different specifics gravities.
A small centrifuge plant would be difficult to detect.
7. haltingly - hesitant or wavering.
With Gaby's weak strength, she haltingly dragged the rug across the room. 
8. probing - an exploratory action, expedition, or device, especially one designed to investigate and optain information on a remote or unknown region. 
9. stagnant - not moving or flowing; motionless.
10. cacophony - jarring, discordant sound; dissonance.

Merely - just; only

Vast - of very great extent or quantity; immense

Parlor - The TV parlor is a room consisting of 3 wall made up solely of TVs.

Abruptly - sudden and unexpected.

Refracted - (of water, air, or glass) make (a ray of light) change direction when it enters at an angle

Immense - extremely large or great, especially in scale or degree.

Imperceptibly - impossible to perceive.

Ventilator - an appliance or aperture for ventilating a room or other space.

Olfactory - of or relating to the sense of smell.
